The Guild Art Gallery launches The Guild Co – Lab

Co- Lab, is intended to foster research within a wider social construct. Expanding the communication and experimentation of dissected creative practices, Co – Lab invites political, creative, educational and socially active groups to exercise ideas within a critically constructive atmosphere.

Co - Lab focuses on the cross pollination of genres, searching for a greater understanding of existing constructs through the creation, examination and processes of constructs.

Co –Lab exists as an oblique discourse within and without the overreaching gallery discourse.

Examining the critical function of immaterial art, this discussion will bring together artists and writers who use the internet to produce and distribute information. Exceeding locality, the following panelists use the internet as a tool, building communities that share converging interests and goals. By examining the contrasting practices, the panelists will discuss their projects and their approach to the immaterial.
